CML’s Head Office has been based in Oxted, Surrey since 1994 and employs experienced staff who work as a dedicated team with a common goal; to offer customers the best possible service, on every level.

We want staff to be aware of the latest technology and techniques that can be utilised within our own offices and that of our partners, so we can continually evolve and stay ahead of our competitors.

Retaining invaluable insight

Managing Director – Michael McIntyre – as well as staff in the main Operations Department, regularly travels to the principal operating areas. This helps to ensure CML maintains the close relationships that have been developed with customers, supplier, agents, etc.

This regular travel also gives CML staff first-hand knowledge of the movement of the customer’s cargo and how it is handled – from working directly with agents in their offices, to reviewing procedures in place, to being hands on – literally, supervising the loading and unloading of cargo, directly, with a transporter or within a port.

Having first-hand knowledge of the cargo itself and how it can be handled and transported gives staff invaluable insight.

Fully accredited with an ideal location

As part of CML’s ISO 9001 accreditation, CML looks at training for in-house staff, on an ongoing basis – be it specific to logistics, administration or accounting functions.

We are also a member of CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport).

We are also 30 minutes by train from London and located near to both the motorway network and both of London’s main airports, Gatwick and Heathrow.

Staffed Monday through Friday, 8.30 – 5.00, there is a 24 hour messaging service out of office hours, so both clients, suppliers and partners can make contact with staff, should they need to.
